This work was produced for Malmaison hotel in Newcastle Upon Tyne. The four panels in this piece were three metres long and a metre high. The black arch had to be cast as one sheet, which required a special screen and temporary vat capable of taking not only the scale, but the weight of the wet pulp as it was lifted from the water.
